Bilbao, October, 24th, 2024 – Our partner AIC – Automotive Intelligence Center, launches a new edition of AIC Challenges 2024-2025, a programme developed by AIC Open University aimed at university students with a passion for the automotive industry.

The programme consists of exclusive challenges, designed to challenge students’ knowledge and skills in different areas of the sector.

  • Challenge 1. Smartisation of components: analysis of the current state of the art and prospective opportunities related to the incorporation of electronics in vehicle components.
  • Challenge 2. Development of an Adams to Carmaker conversion methodology for integration into a road simulator.
  • Challenge 3. Study of the evaluation of passenger comfort in a driving simulator.
  • Challenge 4. Generation of a predictive maintenance model in a Smart Factory.
  • Challenge 5. Integration of advanced robotics for the automation of operations in a Smart Factory.
  • Challenge 6. Foresight on design and manufacturing technologies Traction-E EVs
  • Challenge 7. Hydrogen fuel cell integration engineering as a range extender for an electric bus
  • Challenge 8. Integration of by-wire driving sub-systems in a prototype vehicle.
  • Challenge 9. Development of an intelligent system based on artificial vision and 5G to reduce risks related to multi-mobility.
  • Challenge 10. Analysis of mobility/automobility in India.
  • Challenge 11. Benchmark of bicycle engines: disassembly and comparative study of different types of engines and their components.
  • Challenge 12. Simulation in virtual environment. Improving bicycle safety by reproducing highly dangerous scenarios / manoeuvres and validating them in a virtual environment.
  • Challenge 13. Integration of technology in the bicycle and validation in a real controlled environment, aimed at improving safety.
